"To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance."
-Matt. 25:29 NLT
Jason & Kendra, Co-Founders
Our story began over a decade ago after earning our real estate licenses and deciding to serve clients in the purchase, sale and lease of their property.  Through the years we have helped tenants become homeowners; owners become investors; and investors maximize their returns.

Before launching The Property Stewards, we would refer our beloved clients to property management companies to take care of their management needs.  After hearing many complaints from our clients that they were not being serviced the way they desired, we began to take note.

Then one day while reading the well-known Parable of the Talents, a light bulb came on.  It was as if the formula for property stewardship had been hidden in plain sight for millennia.  Here are the principles we learned and adopted to form our core beliefs:
Principle 1 - Trust
"He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone." - Matt. 25:14
A land-lord should be able to entrust his or her property to a team of professionals and be comfortable enough to not have any worries about its care - even while "gone" from daily involvement in the process.
Principle 2 - Ability
"He...[divided] it in proportion to their abilities" - Matt. 25:14
A steward must be able to manage at a high level the property for which she is responsible.  She should be well-versed in the language, practices and skills necessary to get the job done right.
Principle 3 - Accounting
"After a long time their master returned...and called them to give an account of how they had used his money" - Matt. 25:19
A steward must be prepared to give a full and positive accounting of what was done on behalf of the land-lord.  This includes detailed reports and data to support what is shared.
Principle 4 - Increase
"Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents..." - Matt. 25:20 NKJV
A land-lord should expect to find improvement and value added after entrusting her property to a steward.  That is, after all, the point of investing.
Principle 5 - Joy
"The master was full of praise.  'Well done, my good and faithful servant...Let's celebrate together!" - Matt. 25:21
A land-lord should enjoy and reap the benefits of his or her ownership.  After accounting for the stewardship of the property, there should be reason to celebrate.
